The Ship and Anchor, a Calgary institution, came to us for a menu refresh, but they wanted something that truly captured their energy and history. With more than 30 years of live shows behind them, we dug through their poster archive and built a design inspired by handmade punk zines, a perfect fit for the Ship’s character. The final look hit the mark so well that it did not stop at the menu. They carried the aesthetic into their social media and stationery, making it a core part of their visual identity.
